It's been a hectic morning. I have what my wife deems to be an unhealthy passion for St. Mary's basketball. Last night and this morning were difficult.

But now that I can breathe a little easier knowing that star guard Patty Mills is expected to be back on the court in four weeks - and not be out for the remainder of the season - with a broken shooting hand, I can turn my attention back to the 49ers.

It's been confirmed that Jimmy Raye (offensive coordinator) and Mike Johnson (QBs coach) have agreed to terms. Mike Singletary is going to end his silence and answer some questions at 1 p.m. I'll keep you posted right here.

Thanks for the info, Matt! Can't wait to hear what Coach has to say.

Thanks Matt. Looking forward to his comments.

I'm sure MM will get this scoop:

Did you guys see this? Very Intriguing stuff - Coach Sing brought his coaches two finalist and said "You decide":

In a KNBR interview yesterday with Jim Trotter, the SI reporter, said that before Mike Singletary made his final choice for offensive coordinator, he brought the two finalists, Raye and Hue Jackson, and had them sit down and talk football with the rest of his assistants, both offensive and defensive. After the session, Singletary then asked the assistants to make a choice. According to Trotter, it was unanimous in favor of Raye.

I have an unhealthy passion for 49er football; therefore I comment on your blog.

No worries Matt.

We build em tough here, Patty will be back in no time.

Go Gaels!
Go Niners!
