Chef Patricks in Guerneville
My husband took me to the newly opened Chef Patricks in downtown Guerneville for my birthday on the 3rd and unfortunately the food was cold, the menus were on paper and the headlines read "WELCOME LAZY BEARS." We were told the specials and what the soup of the day was. We ordered, asked for both soup and salad. The soup was tomato basil and well you can't mess that up. The salad was nothing but greens, with 4 little itty bitty cherry tomatoes on it and some champagne vinegarette. The entrees, well the meat on my plate was warm, my husbands fish was hot, but the mashed potato, rice and the vegetable medley were all cold. There were only one other older couple and one sinle gentleman at the time so it is not like they were busy. Then the bill came. It was so utterly ridiculous that I ended up laughing hysterically and made my husband laugh as well. 2 people, 2 soup cups, 2 so called salads, 2 canned 7-ups, 1 Petroli special and 1 prime rib (2 little medallions) and the price $81.42. The 7-up which came in cans was $2.00 a can. Talk about hysterical. Definately NOT WORTH the price at all. As my hubby says, I am worth a hundred dollar dinner, but Chef Patrick's needs to serve hot meals and better food if they want to stay in business. No wonder everybody who stopped to look at the menu taped on the window, would laugh and keep walking.
